NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

Synnovis, the NHS service managing blood tests primarily in south-east London, was targeted in a cyber attack by Russian group Qilin. Although there is no evidence of the entire database being released, hundreds of NHS appointments have been cancelled. Personal patient information, along with financial arrangements between Synnovis, hospitals, and GP services were published online. The impact and scale are still under investigation.
