NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms
London-based medical company, Synnovis, which conducts blood tests for NHS trusts and GP services, was the victim of a ransomware attack by Russian group Qilin on 3 June. The managers of NHS England have confirmed the publication of stolen data online and disrupted appointments and operations as a result, but deny that an entire database was published. The stolen data reportedly included patient information and financial arrangements and have been shared on the darknet and via Telegram.
