NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

A ransomware attack on NHS provider Synnovis, allegedly by Russian group Qilin, has disrupted hundreds of operations and appointments. NHS England confirmed that patient data from Synnovis, which manages blood tests in south-east London, has been published online, but not the entire database. Patient names, dates of birth, NHS numbers, and descriptions of blood tests were among the stolen data. The full impact of the attack is still under investigation.
