NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

Synnovis, a provider of blood tests for trusts and GPs mainly in southeast London, fell victim to a cyber attack on 3 June, believed to be by Russian group Qilin. The data was then published online, NHS England has confirmed. Hundreds of operations and appointments were cancelled, and it could take many weeks to determine who was affected by the attack.
