NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms
Synnovis, a company that manages blood tests for the NHS, was cyber attacked by Russian group Qilin, causing hundreds of appointments and operations to be cancelled. Although no complete databases were published, the BBC reports that almost 400GB of data was shared online, including patient names and results. NHS England and Synnovis are currently investigating to determine the full extent of the data breach.
