NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

Synnovis, which carries out blood tests for the NHS, was hit by a cyber attack on June 3 reportedly by Russian hacker group Qilin, causing the cancellation of hundreds of operations and appointments. While no evidence of an entire database breach has been found, the personal and financial data of individuals was shared online. It could be weeks before the full scale and impact is understood.
