NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms
Cyber attackers, thought to be Russian group Qilin, compromised Synnovis — the firm responsible for NHS blood tests. Although the complete database has not been published, 400GB of data including patient information and financial details were leaked on the darknet and Telegram. This has led to the cancellation of hundreds of appointments and operations, primarily in south-east London, with full ramifications of the incident still unknown.
