NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

Russian cyber group Qilin attacked Synnovis, a UK healthcare company servicing NHS trusts, stealing and publishing patient data. Hundreds of operations and appointments have been cancelled as a result. An investigation into the full extent of the breach and its victims is ongoing. Local health systems are working to reduce patient impact. As of June 20, over 1,100 planned operations and almost 2,200 outpatient appointments had been postponed.
