NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

Synnovis, a company that manages blood tests for NHS Trusts and GP services, fell victim to a cyberattack by Russian group Qilin. The data was published online, leading to the cancellation of hundreds of operations. So far, there’s no evidence the attacker published an entire database. The investigation is ongoing, but NHS trusts confirm that local health systems are in place to assist patients.
