Managed service provider Advanced helps run NHS 111, a service for medical advice. The NHS aims to minimize the disruption, ensuring the public that contingency plans and measures to resolve the situation are being implemented. Ransomware is thought to be behind the incident. Advanced claimed that the problem was confined to a “small number of servers.”
