NHS cyber attack: Delays as only critical tests selected

Blood tests are being delayed by a cyber attack on the IT systems at the London-based firm Synnovis, which has affected hospitals including King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’, along with primary care facilities. The firm said it is prioritising to deliver patient care and can only process 400 blood samples daily from affected trusts. The cyber attack is believed to have been carried out by the Russian group, Qilin.
