NHS cyber attack forces hospitals to cancel operations

Key surgeries in UK hospitals were cancelled due to a cyber attack that disrupted connections to main servers. This led to patients being referred to other hospitals as key operations, including transplant surgeries and blood transfusions, were impacted. Synnovis, an IT firm serving NHS pathology labs, was among those hit. This comes after a Scottish health board suffered a similar cyber attack last month.
