NHS cyber-attack: More ransomware cases ‘likely on Monday’

UK Labour is accusing the government of slashing funding to the National Health Service’s IT budget, while both the Liberal Democrats and Labour have called for an inquiry into the recent cyber-attack. Shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth has questioned why alerts about the NHS’s outdated machines were not addressed, and has accused the government of cutting the IT and infrastructure budget by £1bn.
