NHS cyber attack: Royal Surrey operating ‘as normal’ despite worldwide IT breach

Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford has begun to reassure its patients that the establishment was operating as normal, despite the cyber attack on the NHS. Although other organisations were severely compromised during the global ransomware attack, such as the NHS, St Peter’s Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital, the Royal Surrey released a statement guaranteeing that it was unaffected by the compromised systems.
