NHS cyber attack sees more than 1,500 operations and appointments cancelled in London

A Russian cyberattack on pathology firm Synnovis, involving over 1,500 cancelled operations and appointments in just a week, has thrown two London NHS trusts into chaos. King’s College Hospital NHS Trust and Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Trust declared a critical incident, following the June 3 attack, reportedly orchestrated by Russian cyber criminals Qilin. The incident has significantly hampered routine care services and slowed test processing across parts of London.
