NHS cyber attack sees more than 1,500 operations and appointments cancelled in London
More than 1,500 operations and appointments have been cancelled at London’s King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Trusts following a Russian cyberattack on pathology firm Synnovis. The attack has led to a significant reduction in test processing capacity, causing significant delays in routine care. Synnovis is currently focussed on technical recovery of their systems, but complete restoration may take some time.
