NHS cyber attack update after blood tests unable to be carried out and operations postponed

Cybercriminals have leaked almost 400GB of data stolen from NHS blood-testing firm Synnovis on the dark web, including patient names, birth dates, NHS numbers, and blood test descriptions. The NHS has warned people to be on their guard as the National Crime Agency verifies the data. The group responsible, Qilin, has been trying to extort money from Synnovis since hacking the company on June 3.
