NHS cyber attack: Updates as Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust suffers ‘major network issue’

An employee at Colchester General Hospital described how computers were disabled one by one, affecting all staff and leaving them with no idea what was happening. Turning off and restarting computers failed to resolve the issues, and staff were told to disconnect their internet cables. The worker noted that doctors’ notes, all now stored on computers, could also be affected.
