NHS cyber attacks hit record levels in four in five trusts after Russian invasion

Four out of five National Health Service (NHS) trusts have experienced record levels of cyberattacks following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to software provider Armis. The rise in activity, which includes phishing and dark web connections, began in April when UK prime minister Boris Johnson publicly supported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The NHS 111 service was targeted by ransomware earlier this month.
