NHS Digital and Microsoft buddy up for threat detection service

Microsoft will support NHS Digital’s cyber security capabilities via its Threat Detection Service. Once enabled, the system will send targeted alerts on threats, including a problem diagnosis and steps on fixing it. The service pinpoints issues within networks, and can track them to individual devices. The agreement was made following a successful pilot project with the NHS and Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.
