NHS Dumfries and Galloway warns everyone to ‘assume data has been published’ following cyber attack

NHS Dumfries and Galloway has warned Staffordshire residents their data may have been leaked following a major cyberattack in February. Although patient medical records weren’t stolen, a large number of files like test results, patient letters, and X-rays were copied and later released online. Areas residents have been advised on how to stay safe online. NHS Dumfries and Galloway are still investigating.
