The BBC uses Google’s AMP technology for lightweight mobile pages. This requires storing some limited non-consensual data on a user’s device. Consent for additional data collection allows personalized ads for users outside the UK. Users can reject data collection, but will still see non-personalized ads. Preferences can be changed at any time by clicking “Ad Choices / Do not sell my info”.
