NHS Error Exposes Data on Hundreds of Patients and Staff

Hundreds of NHS patients and staff have had their personal data exposed due to errors at NHS Highland and Basingstoke Hospital. This included the details of 284 diabetes patients and over 1,000 hospital staff members, as well as information related to a stillbirth. Patients have been notified and the situation reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
