NHS launches blood donor appeal after hospital cyber attack

An urgent call for O-type blood donors has been made following a ransomware attack linked to Russian group Qilin on major London hospitals. The attack affected a pathology contractor, slowing patient blood matching. People with O-positive and O-negative blood are being requested to donate at one of the 25 NHS centres.
