NHS orgs face 4-week wait for systems

NHS IT provider Advanced has confirmed that a ransomware attack occurred on 4 August which disrupted critical software. Some NHS and care organisations have been warned they may face a delay of up to four weeks for the restoration of services. Advanced is investigating the potential loss or theft of data.
