NHS patient information in data breach by Diagnostic Health
Approximately 10,000 NHS patients may have had their data exposed in a series of data protection breaches by London-based firm, Diagnostic Health. A Corp within the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) revealed that the firm stored patient data unencrypted, and as a result has voluntarily stopped operations, which it plans to resume once it has completed its action plan agreed with the ICO.
