NHS Test and Trace strengthens cyber defences

NHS Test and Trace, the UK government-funded service for COVID-19 tracking, has teamed up with cybersecurity firm Risk Ledger to manage cybersecurity risks in their supply chain. Risk Ledger’s “social network” platform will allow secure data sharing and help identify and mitigate security risks. This collaboration comes as supply chain cyber-attacks pose an increasing threat to critical national infrastructure organizations, as seen in recent breaches at SolarWinds and Microsoft. The partnership aims to secure the NHS Test and Trace system and protect sensitive data from malicious actors.
