NHS warns community to assume data was leaked

NHS health board in Dumfries and Galloway has warned locals that their data may have been compromised in a cyber-attack that resulted in significant quantities of personnel and patient data being published online. The board is contacting high-risk individuals and asking the public to be vigilant. Files such as x-rays, test results and correspondence between health teams, as well as between health teams and patients, are among the stolen data.
