North Korea Debuts ‘SpectralBlur’ Malware Amid macOS Onslaught

The North Korean state-backed group TA444 has introduced new malware for targeting macOS users, dubbed “SpectralBlur.” Researcher Greg Lesnewich claims the backdoor software can perform a range of functions, depending on commands from the server. TA444, which often collaborates with known threat Lazarus Group, is focusing increasingly on macOS, according to Lesnewich.
