North Korean-backed hackers are targeting security researchers

North Korean-backed hackers are reportedly targeting security researchers, according to Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG). The hackers first approach researchers on social media before moving the conversation to encrypted platforms and sending a malicious file. The group is also believed to have developed a debugging tool which can download and execute arbitrary code from an attacker-controlled domain.
