North Korean ‘hacker’ charged over cyber-attacks against NHS | NHS

The US Department of Justice has charged a supposed North Korean operative with aiding in a 2017 cyber-attack on the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), according to a criminal complaint. The militant, identified as Park Jin Hyok, 34, also allegedly facilitated an attack on Sony in 2014 and a deception that resulted in the theft of $81m from Bangladesh’s central bank in 2016.
