North Korean Hackers Targets Job Seekers with Fake FreeConference App

North Korean threat actors have leveraged a fake Windows video conferencing application to attack developer systems as part of a financially-driven campaign, known as Contagious Interview. An attack involving a fake job interview encourages victims to download malware-laden software. Singaporean company Group-IB detected the activity, attributing it to the notorious Lazarus Group. This malware can steal data and control infected systems.
