A North Korean man, Park Jin Hyok, has been charged by US prosecutors in connection with the creation of malware that was used in attacks on the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and Sony Pictures. Park is believed to be a member of the Lazarus group, which is also suspected of involvement in a number of cyber attacks. The Justice Department said that the malware had caused significant damage. The North Korean government has denied involvement in the attacks.
