Novant Health strikes $2.4B deal to buy 3 hospitals from Tenet Healthcare

Novant Health has agreed to acquire three South Carolina hospitals from Tenet Healthcare for around $2.4bn. Subject to regulatory approval, Novant Health would expand its presence in South Carolina, where it already operates 16 hospitals. The move is part of a long-term commitment to the region and the hospital group’s CEO Carl Armato stated the acquisition would help improve local health and wellness.
