Novel malware campaign sets sights on hotels

Chinese-speaking threat group, Smishing Triad, has targeted individuals in the UAE who recently updated their residence visas. The group has launched a “smishing” attack campaign disguising as UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to collect malicious data, reports The Hacker News.
