NYC Health + Hospitals gets $5M gift to bolster behavioral staff retention

Over 120 staff at NYC Health + Hospitals will receive up to $75,000 in student debt relief, funded by a $5m donation from Black Family Philanthropies. The initiative aims to aid recruitment and retention of behavioral health staff. $4m will fund a student loan repayment program, with the remaining $1m supporting career advancement and workplace safety.
