The New Zealand Ministry of Health has signed a single digital services contract with Microsoft for the country’s health and disability system. The deal, worth NZ$45 million per year, is expected to save NZ$27 million over three years and improve cybersecurity protection. The contract will also provide IT and software services for new health sector entities. In addition, the ministry has developed a strategy and action plan to enhance health data collection and management.
