ONC marks milestone: HRSA receiving live data via FHIR

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is using HL7’s Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)-based interfaces to streamline reporting and improve data quality. The HRSA and the Office of the National Coordinator for Healthcare Technology used the Health Level 7 FHIR Bulk Data Access standard to implement and modernize data exchange systems, extending to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Access APIs.
