ONC seeks comments on Draft USCDI Version 5

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) is requesting feedback and suggestions for its draft United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) Version 5. The draft focuses on the inclusion of standardized health data classes and data elements to enhance patient care and access. The ONC is also considering adding more data elements already classed as Level 2 on the USCDI webpages. The final USCDI v5 is expected to be released in July 2024.
