One aged care provider’s solution to meet rural service demand amid staff shortage

McLean Care has developed an online service, iAgeHealth, to address a looming shortage of aged care workers in Australia. The platform offers round-the-clock access to specialist clinicians for remote communities. Now in soft-launch stage, the service is capable of delivering end-to-end care management, covering diabetes management, wound care and chronic health management. CEO Sue Thomson stressed the service complements the traditional workforce rather than replacing it.
