One-third of Americans impacted by massive healthcare data breach

A healthcare data breach at Change Healthcare in February 2024 may have affected one-third of all Americans, according to an alert from the Maryland Attorney General’s office. Sensitive health and personal information could be compromised. Change Healthcare is offering two years of free credit monitoring and identity theft protections to affected patients.
