OpenAI Launches SearchGPT Prototype

OpenAI has unveiled SearchGPT, a tool incorporating AI features and web data to enhance online information searches. It aims to provide fast, precise answers directly from the internet, with links to relevant sources. Initially, selected users and publishers will have access to SearchGPT for feedback before integrating its features into ChatGPT. The tool can enhance user engagement and supports publishers by highlighting their content. OpenAI is also rolling out tools allowing publishers to control their content’s appearance in SearchGPT results.
