Oracle at HIMSS24: Rolling out AI, back-office fusion and simplifying data exchange
Oracle unveiled new products at the HIMSS24 global conference, featuring its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant. The assistant can automate note-taking, generate medication orders, and schedule follow-ups, among other tasks. Oracle Health also presented its capabilities in cloud infrastructure, data management, clinical, and operational applications. Seema Verma, Oracle Health’s executive VP, emphasized that these offerings aim to improve healthcare outcomes, reduce clinician burden, and enhance patient care.
