OracleCMS Attack Leads to Major Victorian Cities Data Breach

Australian call centre provider, OracleCMS, suffered a data breach which exposed data from multiple local government councils. The leak, attributed to ransomware group LockBit, included data such as corporate information, invoices, and contract details. Over a dozen councils were affected, alongside various other organisations including law firms and real estate agents. OracleCMS has begun an investigation and stated that the risk of misuse of the leaked data is low.
