Organizations fail to log 44% of cyber attacks, major exposure gaps remain

Research by Picus Security has unveiled that 40% of tried environments allowed pathways leading to domain admin access, indicating a high level of organisational risk. Although on average, firms blocked seven out of ten attacks, gaping holes within threat exposure management could still allow attackers to move laterally across enterprise networks. Organisations are urged to implement continuous surveillance and regular evaluations of logging and alerting systems.
