Oxford University professor warns of cyber attacks on NHS

Over 6,000 appointments and procedures have been delayed at two major London hospitals owing to a cyber attack in June. The cyber criminals behind the ransomware attack reportedly published stolen data online from Synnovis, a provider of pathology services. However, NHS England stated there was “no evidence” of an entire database being published online.
