Panel weighs decisions for stage 2 quality measures

An advisory panel is considering whether to follow the same structure for Stage 2 of meaningful use as for Stage 1, and whether to carry forward the 2011 measures. The quality measure workgroup is also considering measures that have been retooled for electronic reporting and the new measures that ONC will put forward. The panel is narrowing down the most promising measures, which will fall into four categories. The federal government is using this opportunity to consider a broader range of measures and to support new models of healthcare delivery.
