Patient data held by hacker group after cyber attack, health board confirms

NHS Dumfries and Galloway have admitted that a “proof pack” of data published by the INC Ransom group is genuine. The Scottish government has said the breach is limited to the one health board. Patients whose data has been leaked will be contacted. In a statement, NHS Dumfries and Galloway said the attack had not affected patient services.
