Patient data held by hacker group after cyber attack, health board confirms

Hacker group INC Ransom claims to have obtained three terabytes of NHS Scotland data in a post on its dark web blog. The post included “proof” of the data offload, which has been confirmed as genuine by the NHS board. The Scottish Government says the incident has been contained to one health board, with minimal impact on patient services.
