Patient data held by hacker group after cyber attack, health board confirms

The group INC Ransom has claimed it has three terabytes of data from NHS Scotland, according to a post on its dark web blog. NHS Dumfries and Galloway has confirmed that data presented as “proof” is genuine. Affected patients will be notified and all patient-facing services will continue as normal. Several government agencies are involved in the investigation.
